Bastians Football Academy is excited to announce the launch of our new 6-a-side league, designed to bring the fast-paced, skill-driven excitement of futsal to our community. Whether you’re a seasoned player looking to sharpen your game or a beginner eager to learn, our league offers the perfect environment to experience the thrill of futsal!

League Details

• League Format: 6-a-side (Futsal Style)
• Game Duration: 2 halves of 20 minutes each (5- minute half-time break)
• Teams: Maximum of 10 players per team (6 on the pitch, 4 substitutes)
• Venue: [TBC],
• Dates: TBC/Estimated Oct/ or as soon as we have 8 teams of your teams age group 
• 14+ Matches & Match Days: [TBC/Poss Mon or Wed Evening]
• Registration Deadline: [25th Oct]

How to Register

1. Form Your Team: Gather your team of friends, family, or fellow football enthusiasts. Don’t have a team? No problem! Sign up as an individual, and we’ll help place you in a team.
2. Register Online: Individual or Team Interest 
3. Payment: Secure your spot by paying the entry fee via [Insert Payment Method, e.g., online portal, bank transfer].
4. Confirmation: Once registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all league details, including the match schedule and rules.

Rules & Regulations

• Futsal Style: Unlike traditional 6-a-side football, our league follows futsal rules, meaning:
• Smaller, heavier ball for increased control.
• No walls – the ball remains in play through throw-ins.
• Emphasis on skill, agility, and quick passing.
• Rolling substitutions to keep the game flowing.
• Fair Play: All players are expected to adhere to our code of conduct, promoting sportsmanship and respect both on and off the pitch.
• Team Kit: Each team is required to wear a uniform kit, or matching bibs. If you need assistance arranging kits, please let us know!
• Referees: Matches will be officiated by referees familiar with futsal rules to ensure fair play and enjoyment for everyone involved.
